As a sissy, you often want to embrace all the femininity you can manage. One of the things you may want to do is wear high heels with your pretty sissy dresses. It’s not the easiest thing to master, but with practice, you will gain this new skill. I suggest starting with a low heel, and gradually increase the height of the shoes you purchase.
There are three basic types of shoes most sissy gals are interested in. the first is a pump. It’s a basic style of shoe that can be made plain or fancy. The color and decorations may vary. The instep ( sides) of the shoe may be cut out to reveal more foot. The toe may be cut open to reveal a pretty pedicure. The ballet flat is basically a pump with no heel, but then you can graduate inch by inch up to your desired height. The heels may be spiky and slender or thick and chunky, providing more stability. Remember, practice, practice, practice!
The second type of shoe you may be interested in is a sandal. These can be with no heel up to as high as you like! A sandal is something strappy, generally, that shows off plenty of skin, and again your pretty pedicure. Sandals are for summer, though, so if these interest you, there’s only a month or two left to enjoy them! Sandals can go with all your clothing choices, from jeans to shorts, skirts to dresses. They are so varied you can collect bunches and never repeat a style or color.
Wedge heels are a whole different class of shoe. They can be sandals or pump type shoes- what makes them different is that they give you more of a platform to stand on when you are learning to walk in a heel. If you look up wedge heels you will see what I mean. There are a lot of cute options, and they don’t have to just be for beginners! I have several wedge heeled sandals that I adore.
One thing I hear a lot of in my calls is that you enjoy a shoe with a strap around the ankle. All these styles can come with that detail, you just have to look! Another issue you may have is finding shoes that fit you. Here is a conversion chart to determine the size you need, to make shopping easier for you. If you are still an online-only shopper, I can’t say enough about Zappos and their awesome return policy. They also have many shoes up to a size 15 in women, which may just work for many of you!
I love shoes, and probably have close to 100 pairs of all types. I hope you find some you love too and quickly get the hang of walking in the heel of your choice. Anytime you want to talk about the clothing and shoe choices you find interesting, just give me a call for some good old fashioned girl talk!
going to buy some high heels and get a lot of practice.
I can’t wait! Thanks for dropping by!
