I always like to write a neatly organized blog to share relevant and personal information with you, but right now all I can think is “FFS Stephanie, what the hell is wrong with you?!??”
So, this is what has been going on: I do NOT have any of the common diseases or illnesses that cause joint pain. I was concerned it was Lyme Disease, but it is not. After all the lovely testing, it was apparent that something was causing inflammation and pain so I began a food elimination diet, basically eliminating milk, eggs, nuts, wheat, shellfish, and soy. Hated giving up yogurt! I muddled through. It was really boring for about 2 weeks- I knew I was ready to start adding things back when I was no longer having weird headaches for no normal reason. Yogurt was added back, no issues at all with dairy. (this is important later…)
I had a vacation scheduled from the 22nd until the 27th- a week-long bachelorette party, primping, rehearsal, and wedding for a dear friend in Indiana. (For some reason that didn’t make it onto my calendar here!). On the way back home from the airport, I got some Arby’s mozzarella sticks. I’d eaten their jalapeno poppers in Indiana, no problem, and I’d eaten cheese (LOVE cheeses) no problem, but for some damn reason, the mozzarella sticks had me hurting so damn bad. So that’s on my never eat those again list…
The one thing I’ve hung on to is my Crystal Lite Peach Tea. Probably only because I have a rather large stash of it. When it’s gone, it will be time for hot tea, and I use honey in that. Getting rid of artificial sweeteners.
This is all so boring, isn’t it? And not Mistressy at ALL.
But you guys and gals CARE, and I feel like I should have caught you up a month ago.
Just to be on the safe side I’m swimming laps instead of using the treadmill or elliptical or even lifting weights. I’m feeling really good tonight. I’ll be here tomorrow soon after I get back from the gym and eat a bite. Thank you for your love/adoration/worship/friendship and all the patience that comes with it!
XO
Ms. Stephanie
