Use it or Lose It
Thursday night- my weekend starts around 4 a.m. when I log off! I suspect I’ll be going to the gym early though. Yes, I’m blessed with excellent genetics, but I can’t just sit around and expect to keep the body you love to worship! During colder weather, I didn’t mind going in the middle of the afternoon, but this sweating at dawn habit started because I didn’t want to go in the middle of the day- when I work out, I work hard. I’m not gonna lie, I sweat! The past month or so, it’s turned into an entirely different experience. I don’t go work out every day, but about every other day, and after the first week I noticed a pretty muscular fella really keeping an eye on me. Spotting me when I did free weights, winking at me when I was on the elliptical. Nothing creepy, remember, it’s a small town- I feel pretty safe. I figured there were only a few degrees of separation socially between him and I. (turns out I was right!).
Worship Me With Your Tongue
He asked me to breakfast one morning as we were walking out, and I said I appreciated the offer but I would feel better if I went home and “washed this sweat down the drain”. That’s specifically what I said. Out of nowhere dude says “I could clean it off for you instead.” really quiet, like he wasn’t sure he should be saying it. I stopped walking and said “Excuse me?” and he said it would be a complete honor to help me cleanse my skin in whatever way I deemed appropriate. Ok, I was absolutely gobsmacked (yes, that’s a word!)! This doesn’t happen in a small town in Kentucky without some conversation and research first!
